Ray Allan Holden Obituary
Tahlequah, OK - Ray Holden, 73, of Tahlequah, OK, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026, surrounded by his family. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and countless cherished memories.
Born on November 18, 1952, in Tahlequah, he was the son of the late Raymond and Geneva Holden. Ray was a man of faith who believed in hard work, a good laugh, and never letting a conversation end without saying, "I love you." A devoted family man, he built a life rooted in love, laughter, and security for his children and grandchildren. He was a pillar of strength and a source of wisdom, cherished for his guidance and patience with all who knew him.
Ray found his greatest joy in attending Sunday church, watching Oklahoma Sooners football, and spending time with family and friends. His kindness and devotion to God and family will continue to live on through those he loved.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 25 years, Betsy; his children, son Jeremy Holden and wife Debbie of Dallas, daughter Shannon Fisher and wife Kristin of Tulsa, son Brandon Holden, and daughters Emily and Cammie Smith of Tahlequah; and his grandchildren, Hunner Holden and wife Taylor of Fort Walton, FL, River, Jernee, and Brodee Crane, Michelle, Tevan, and Lylly Holden, and Zeke Graves, who were the light of his life. On his last day with us, he also became a great-grandfather to little Boaz Ray.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on March 14th at 11 a.m. at Victory House of Praise in Hulbert, Oklahoma.
