Sallisaw, Oklahoma - Larry G. Perry, age 75, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, passed away on December 31, 2025. Larry was born on May 13, 1950, in Granite, Oklahoma, to Lillie (Coy) Perry and William Leon Perry. He was a 1969 graduate of Altus High School. Larry dedicated much of his life to education, serving as a respected educator for Gans and Vian Schools. On December 17, 1977, Larry married Deanna (Foster) Perry in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and they built a life together filled with love and family. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Larry embodied the values of dedication and service. Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Deanna, and their son, Daniel Perry of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He was a cherished grandfather to five grandchildren: Danielle, Amanda, Israphel, Adam, and Ethan Perry. Additionally, he was blessed with four great-grandchildren: Elias, Arthur Dean, Everett, and Hugo. Larry will also be remembered by several cousins, other relatives, and friends whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his parents; four siblings; and his lifelong best friend, Jim Wilson. A funeral service will be held in his honor at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Viewing will take place from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Larry's kindness, dedication, and love for his family and community will always be remembered. He leaves behind a legacy of commitment to education and friendship that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
