Evelyn Loye Gladd
Evelyn Loye (Mcfarland) Gladd was born on January 9th, 1940 to Henry and Esther Mcfarland. She passed from this world on Friday, September 27, 2019 in Tahlequah.

Evelyn graduated from Fort Gibson High School in the class of 1958. She married Jerry Gladd Sr and they shared 61 years of marriage residing in Tahlequah. Together they had three children.
She was employed for 17 years as Food Service Coordinator at NSU in Tahlequah. Later in life, she enjoyed being a Retail Specialist for Twice as Nice in Muskogee and was ever to be found working at her passion: hand quilting. She was best known by her family and friends for being an excellent cook, a collector of flea market and antique treasures, lover of gardening and hummingbirds. She loved decorating and keeping house.

Evelyn is survived by her husband Jerry; children, Latricia (Trish) Gladd Waddell, Jerry Gladd Jr, Larry Gladd and wife Dondi; 11 grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers, Tom Mcfarland and Dale Mcfarland; extended family and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, sister, son-in-law and daughter-in-law.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson with family receiving friends 5PM-7PM.

Funeral services celebrating Evelyn's life will be 11AM Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Kevin Webster officiating.

Committal prayers and interment will follow in the Holland Cemetery in Woodall, OK.
