Randall was born August 7, 1929 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to James Fred and Era Thelma (Stout) Davis. He passed from this life on August 24, 2017 surrounded by family. He grew up on the family farm with his siblings in the Park Hill area and attended Park Hill School through 8th grade, graduating high school from Bagley High in Tahlequah in 1947. Randall furthered his education at Northeastern State Teacher College, now called NSU, receiving his Bachelors and Masters in Education.

Randall married the love of his life, Mildred Allyne Lawless, on October 11, 1951, a marriage that lasted 66 years. Together, they started their family and raised five children in the Tahlequah area.

Randalls career in education began in 1951 at Stone Chapel and continued at Woodall Elementary, where he served as a Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent, before retiring in 2001. Randalls passion for education, his students and the Woodall community helped transform the small rural school to a premier K-8 institution.

Through the years, Randall had many hobbies. He loved working on the farm, gardening, fishing, noodling, quail hunting and traveling. But what he enjoyed most was time spent surrounded by his wife and family.

Preceding him in death are his parents J.F. and Era Davis, his sisters Donnie Yount, Gaynold Tackett, and Josephine Hood and his brothers Willie, Leslie and Carl Davis.

Randall is survived by his wife, Mildred, of the home; daughters Teresa Fleming (Robert) and Michelle Stevens (Vic), both of Tahlequah; his sons Randy (Mary), Terry (Kara) and Ronnie (Wendy), all of Tahlequah; grandchildren Farrah Smithson (Jackie), Alicia ODonnell (Mickey), Candi Davis Garcia (Bobby), Evan Barnes (Colton), Melanie Foreman (Sheldon), Carlie Hammons (Dylan), Michael Davis, Matthew Porter (LaRanda), Amanda Hendricks (Ray), and Janet Frye (Spenser); great grandchildren Randee and Taylor ODonnell, Colby and Caleb Davis and Lilly Garcia, Chloee and Cason Barnes, Emmy and Grayden Foreman, Avery and Kennly Hammons, Zoey Hendricks, Cannon Porter and Aleah Frye; sister Nona Burgess; and a host of other family and friends.
