Services for Paul T. Roach will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Tahlequah. Officiating will be Chaplain Kevin Webster. Pallbearers include: Chance Imhoff, Billy Gibson, Eddie Molloy, Rolondo Trejo, Marty Moss, and Gene Mabray Honorary pallbears are: Allen Mills, Jeff Reasor, Gale Rhoads, Gary McIntosh, Sam Barnes, and Bob Barnes.
Paul Thomas Roach was born November 10, 1949 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Woody Roach and Della (Hendren) Roach. Paul departed this life on October 4, 2017 at his home in Tahlequah. He grew up in Tahlequah where he attended schools through graduation.
Paul married Mary (Hoffman) Roach in 1979 in Tahlequah, they shared 31 years together before Mary was called home on February 18, 2011.
He began his early career as a butcher working for Safeway Foods. He later joined Reasors grocery where he served as the meat director for many years before becoming the Vice President of Reasors Meat and Seafood Operations. He retired after 43 years of service.
After retirement, he joined the Cherokee County Farm Bureau board of directors, where he was currently serving as the President. He continued tending to his livestock and pecan farm south of Tahlequah. Paul loved life on the farm spent outdoors working with cattle, gardening, cooking outside on the grill and spending time with his family. One of his favorite hobbies was entertaining others. In recent years he found enjoyment in helping Deborah Rucker run her restaurant Jincy's Kitchen in Qualls, Oklahoma.
Preceding him in death are his father Woody Roach, his mother Della Roach, wife Mary Roach, his brothers Kenneth Roach and Eddie Roach, father-in-law Odis Hoffman and brother in laws, Todd Wofford, Rick Hix, and James Hoffman, and sister-in-law, Linda Roach.
Surviving him in death are children Valerie Roach of Fort Gibson, Mike and wife Shawnna Roach of Tahlequah, Travis Roach of Tahlequah and Audra and husband Chance Imhoff of Tahlequah; sisters, Shirley Wofford of Mannford and Pat and husband Henry Hendrickson of Prague; Mother-in-law, Virginia Hoffman of Park Hill; six grandchildren Kinzie Roach and Braiden Roach of Fort Gibson, Maycee Roach of Locust Grove, Aaron Eubanks of Tulsa, Aariel Green of Emporium KS, and Ryker Roach of Tahlequah as well as many other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
