PERKINS – Lydia May (Lincoln) Myers, 89, passed away at her home in Perkins. She will have traditional Indian services on Thursday July 9, 2015, with a meal at noon, followed by services at 2 p.m. at the Bah Kho-Je Chena building in Perkins. Burial will be at the Iowa Tribal Cemetery. Lydia was born on Dec. 7, 1925 in Perkins, Okla., to Jack Lincoln and Kate (Murray) Lincoln. She married T.J. Myers, who preceded her in death. Lydia attended Independence School of Perkins and graduated from Perkins High School. Lydia and her husand, T.J., were independent business owners. Lydia loved making Indian shawls, fishing, animals and cooking. She was one of two remaining pure-blood Iowa tribe members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Kate Lincoln; husband, T.J. Myers; brothers, Abe and Will Lincoln; sisters, Alice Garcia, Mary Lincoln; and daughter, Jean Bales Lacy. She is survived by her son, William (Billy Jack) and wife, Patty Myers of Park Hill, Okla.; grandchildren, Kelly Myers and Dr’s. Jack Myers and wife Lana, all of Tahlequah; great-grandchildren, Katelyn Myers, Elvis, Bella, Zoe and Ragan Myers; and brother, Charles Walter Lincoln of Perkins. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews Billie and husband Lee Mauldin, Lydia Renee Lincoln, Michelle (Moonie) Holliday, Michael, Mark and Doug Garcia.
