Kennith was born March 4, 1943, in Proctor, the son of Earl W. And Minnie L. (Youngblood) Kirk. The Lord called him home on Sept. 25, 2015, with loved ones by his side. Kennith, along with his brothers, spent their childhood in the Pumpkin Hollow area. On Jan. 18, 1969, he was blessed and married the love of his life, Rufina Rose West-Kirk. He was a loving father of three wonderful daughters and three great sons. In his 46 years of marriage, he worked hard on gas pipelines as a heavy equipment operator in many different surrounding states. When he wasn’t working, he was at home with his wife and children where he cherished his time. His primary concern was for his family’s well being. He loved having his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren visit, talking about their day and asking what they learned in school, "Well did you learn anything?" Kennith loved to roam the roads of Pumpkin Hollow and visit families’ homes. Although not good at it, he loved to fish, and welcomed anyone bringing him fish to eat. He liked football games and watching Westerns on TV. When his health wouldn’t let him work, he helped friends and family with anything. Kennith has been preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lucille Kirk; his three brothers, Robert, Junior, and Darrell Kirk; and a great-grandson, Connor Tyler. Cherishing his memory are his wife, Rufina, of the home; and children, Kennith Dale Kirk and wife, Luke, of Proctor, Lisa Kirk and fiance, Tim Jessie, of Proctor, Keith Kirk and wife, Stephanie, of Hulbert, Brian Kirk and wife, Jamie, also of Hulbert, Monika Kirk and fiance, Cecil Johnston, of Tahlequah, and Kimberley Chumley and husband, Richard, of Wagoner. Kennith also had 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to count. Green Country Funeral Home, 203 S. Commercial Road, 918-458-5055.
