Gwendolyn Kay Grayson, of Tahlequah Ok passed away on Saturday April 8th in Tahlequah Oklahoma.
Services will be held at St Basil's Episcopal Church, Monday April 17th at 11am.
Arrangements are by Hart Funeral home.
Born Gwendolyn Kay Hogan in Miami Oklahoma to William Riley Hogan and Mary June Mosley. She attended high school in Afton. She married Joe Grayson on January 11th 1979. In Eureka Springs Arkansas. She graduated from Oklahoma State and University of Arkansas with an M.A. She worked in Family and Community development for the state of Arkansas and Cherokee Nation for over 40 years. She was recognized by National Child Welfare Leadership Center, nominated as one of top ten outstanding young women of America. She was involved in the local chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and served on Tahlequah Public School Board, as well the historic preservation committee.
She is preceded in death by her Brother William Rex Hogan, and Father William Riley and mother Mary June.
Gwendolyn is survived by her husband Joe, son's Michael-Aaron and Stuart Cooweescoowee and wife Shayla and daughter Mary-Charlotte. Granddaughters Lyla- June, Anna-Kay, and Charlotte Riley. Niece Mia.
