Jeanne spent her entire life as a Tahlequah resident, growing up on Muskogee Avenue near downtown and graduating high school in Tahlequah. On January 4, 1956, she married Gerald Gibson, and together they raised three boys, Gary, Rex and Randy.
In 1971 Jeanne began work at the local tag agency and spent many decades serving the people of Tahlequah. She was known by many in the community for her kindness and generosity. She loved spending time with her family and viewed that time as her favorite. She also loved being with her family vacationing in Mexico where she traveled often, collecting Elvis memorabilia, and listening to music, especially her brother Sparkys music.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her sons Rex and Gary; her parents Johnnie and Bernice; her brother Sparky Fisher; her grandparents John and Nancy Hicks and Levi and Bernice Carlile; and a special aunt and uncle, James and Iza Kashwer.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald, son Randy and wife Terry, grandchildren Cori White and husband Cody, Zach Gibson and wife Rachel, Colton Gibson, Wendy Jordan and husband Randall, Josh Gibson, and Aurora Gibson, great-grandchildren Caden, Rylan and Reese White, Stone and Ava Gibson, and Luka Jordan, her step-father Norman (Shrimp) Fisher, and daughters-in-law Julie and Angie Gibson, along with many other family, friends and loved ones.
Jeanne was a special person and her smile, laugh and humor will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She will be forever in our hearts.
