Farrell loved and influenced the lives of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was an avid hunter and loved camping and hunting with his family. He served in the Army during World War II in the Philippine Islands. He was a sharpshooter and was classified as a Rigger. He had his own business as a watchmaker and Jeweler for many years and specialized and loved working on Antique Clocks. He would work in his shop on his property as he could and loved that work. The last year he was unable to go there as often because of his health issues. His later years were spent farming and raising cattle in Oklahoma, which he and his wife loved. Farrell was a prankster and a tease, first with his children and then his grandchildren and his laugh was very contagious. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and loved ones. He lived his life finer than frog hair.
