TAHLEQUAH – Services for Mark Campbell, 54, of Tahlequah, are 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 3, at Green Country Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Glen Hopkins. Pallbearers are Johnny Parrish, Gene Dunn, Jason Foreman, Jereme Buffuna, Dale Girdner, and Gary Mayberry. On May 29, 2015, the friends and family of Winifred Maricale Campbell suffered a great loss with his passing. Mark, as he was known, was born Oct. 14, 1960, to proud parents Winifred and Glenda. He was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County. He was known all over Texas and Louisiana for his pole barn building skills. Mark had many talents and a love of collecting old tractors and cars, eating, traveling and playing jokes. He also had a gift for conversation. Mark is preceded in death by his father, Winifred Campbell; grandparents, Sam and Wanda Blakemore and Fred and Nellie Campbell; a very dear aunt, Sara Brown; and a nephew, Michael Campbell. Those left to cherish his memory are his girlfriend, Angel Watts of Tulsa; daughter, Anna Marie and her husband Richard Hoseney of Tahlequah; daughter, Kelsie Campbell of Tahlequah; a son, Cory Kemp of Keota; his mother and stepdad, Glenda and Tommy McCollum; stepmom, Linnie Campbell of Tahlequah; brother, Allen Campbell; and sister, Lisa Cookson all of Tahlequah. He is also survived by grandparents, Martha and Jack McCollum of Westville; and a great number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He leaves behind many dear friends and co-workers including Jason Foreman, Dale Girdner and Jereme Buffuna who were a great help to him for a number of years.
