Presley Boyd Tucker was born on March 1st, 1964, in Tahlequah, OK, the son of Presley Boyd and Shirley Faye (Craig) Tucker Sr. He grew up in a household with his one brother and three sisters, Steve, Frankie, Cyndi and Teresa, and attended school at Tahlequah High school. Presley then began his career as a truck driver in the transportation industry. He was happiest when he was able to be home, headed to the Illinois River, getting ready to cast a line for a little fishing. He had a love of all things cars, and liked to tinker with them. Presley was always ready to go do a little junking or hunt for the illusive antique, a true American Picker at heart. Many of his treasured finds ended up on his sisters doorstep for safe keeping. He loved animals and was always ready to give them love and attention. He was well read and could converse on any subject, he enjoyed discussing the deeper philosophical aspects of life. The next minute, he had a wicked funny streak and had more witty comebacks than you could count. He liked to venture into the kitchen and do a little home cooking. He had a love of his family that was important to him. No matter where he traveled, he held them close to his heart. His health began to fail him and he passed from this life on Sunday, December 24th, 2017 in Gore, OK. He was 53 years old. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
Presley is preceded in death by his mother, father, one sister Cyndi Tucker, and his grandparents, William and Dorothy Tucker and Joseph and Opal Rhinehart.
Those left to cherish his memory include his brother and sisters, Steve Woodard and wife Beth of Broken Arrow, Frankie Crowson and husband Glen of Wewoka, OK, and Teresa Tucker and Cyndi Brown Tucker of Tahlequah, OK. He leaves two children, Lucas Tucker and Tatum Tucker both of Wewoka, OK.
