TAHLEQUAH – Pamela Vandover, 63, of Tahlequah, Okla., left this world to meet her heavenly father on Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, with her mother, Evelyn, and stepfather, Cliff Cole, at her bedside. Pam was born in Stockton, Calif., on Dec. 9, 1952. She will always be remembered as a lover of animals, coconut milkshakes, camping, fishing and gardening. Pam was preceded in death by her son, David; grandparents, George and Bessie Haynes and Anne Charles; and uncle, Neal Haynes. She is survived by her husband, Greg Vandover; daughter, Lenise Vandover; sister, Vicky and husband Mike Hurles; aunts, Anne Patterson and Jean Hurles; special cousins, Larry and Ron Lamb, Debbie Campbell, Reene, Linda Davis, Vanessa and Angel Hurles; cousin, Kathy Johnson; special friend, Judy Sowles of Oklahoma; many other extended relatives in California; and Hospice of the Cherokee who cared for her during her last months of life.
