Jerry Wayne Blevins was born on February 8, 1949, in Pittsburgh, California, to Maxine Christie and Eugene Blevins. Wayne passed from this life on Monday, July 4, 2016, in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Wayne was a loving husband, to his wife of 46 years, Gloria Ann Hiddle-Blevins, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Art w as his passion and his family described him to be an amazing artists whose art could light up a dark wall in any room. He was best known for his infectious smile and his amazing cooking and baking abilities; always creating his own recipes and turning the fewest ingredients into a culinary masterpiece. Always first to put everyone ahead of himself, Wayne encompassed love and compassion for everyone he met and never had a harsh word to say. Evenings you could find Wayne taking his dog and best pal, Dexter for rides though the neighborhood.
Wayne was proceeded in death by his parents and one brother, Michael. He is survived by three brothers, Randy of Tucson, AZ , Dale of Eufaula, OK and Fred of Payson, AZ and one sister, Jonita Dimmock of Ocala, FL. His wife Gloria of the home, three sons; Jerry Blevins and his wife Natalie of Tulsa; Eric Blevins and wife Rita of Tahlequah; and Bret Blevins of Talihina. Two daughters, Jennifer Russom and husband James of Talihina and Christie Blevins of Miami. Nine grandchildren: Aaron Blevins of Stillwater; Jade Oyler of Bentonville, AR.; Jazmine and Taylor Blevins and Zaylan Franklin all of Miami; Dakota and Shyler Blevins of Tahlequah; Kegan and Drake Russom, of Talihina and three great-grandchildren.
