Scottie Blackfox, Scottie B or Goose grew up in Lost City, OK. The Lord called him home on October 3, 2017 at the age of 39 years, 5 months, and 2 days at his home in Mt. Juliet, TN.
Growing up in Lost City there wasnt a whole lot to do but play ball. While he was truly an all-around sports enthusiast, he developed a passion and skill for the game of baseball. His love for baseball took him through Little League, he was a Hulbert High School Graduate, earned a pitching scholarship to Bacone College. His past teammates will tell of his unique ability to make a baseball do crazy things over the plate, but more so it was his smile and contagious attitude that could lift the spirit of the team that needed rally. As much as he loved the game his loving kindness was that much greater for his family.
He later moved to Tennessee to where he was a manager of Isenhour Door Company for 13 years and a devoted father. Scottie left a lasting impression on everyone he met, kind and gentle spirit, a positive attitude, an avid sports lover, and a smile you will never forget. For him the greatest was giving back through coaching and mentoring his own daughter, Kinsley, to many successes across the country in fast-pitch softball.
He lived life with a passion and spent countless hours developing his daughters athletic skills just like his own Dad did with him.
Scottie was preceded in death by his father, Thurman Blackfox
