Edward Nolan "Eddie" Griffiths, 26, of Rogers, Arkansas, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home. He was born April 30, 1990 in Parma, Ohio, to Edward Robert and Robin Leigh Ellison Griffiths. Eddie was extremely intelligent and personable, but always maintained is child-like outlook on life. He was near completing is PhD in research psychology at the University of Arkansas.
He is survived by his parents, Ed and Robin Griffiths of Gravette, Arkansas; sister, Krystle Lindsey and husband Chris of Muskogee, Oklahoma, and their daughter Katherine; grandmother, Beverly Ellison of Bybee, Tennessee; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents, John Emerson Ellison, and Ed and Eleanor Griffiths.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, December 11, at Heritage Funeral Home in Springdale, online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
A local memorial gathering will be 6 p.m. Saturday, December 10, at the Wesley Foundation United Methodist Student Center, 300 W. Delaware in Tahlequah.
