Memorial services for Dr. Glen Sizemore are 11:00 am, October 24, 2016, at Tahlequah First Baptist Church. Officiating will be Pastor Buddy Hunt.
Glen was born November 19, 1927, in Macomb, Oklahoma to Cecil and Madge Sizemore. He died peacefully in his sleep at Go Ye Village Med Center in Tahlequah, on October 18th, 2016. He was 88 years of age.
He and his wife Margaret had been married 57 years and had three children, Beth, David and Chris.
Glen taught in the Education Department at Northeastern State University from 1956-1990.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tahlequah, a life-long member of Lions Club, a leader in Civil Air Patrol, ROTC, an avid photographer, and was a founding member of STIR. He retired from the Air Force Reserves in 1984 as a Lieutenant Colonial.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Glen is survived by his wife Margaret of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Steve Woodard of Broken Arrow; two sons, David and daughter-in-law Janice Sizemore of Sand Springs and Chris and daughter-in-law Tammy Sizemore of Texarkana Texas, as well as 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
