BETHANY – Dorothy Lafern Haddock, 64, died Nov. 2, 2015, in Oklahoma City. She was born Sept. 17, 1951, in Tahlequah, to Albert and Evelyn Tennison Medlin. She married Kenneth L. Haddock, July 10, 1971, in Tahlequah. They were married 44 years. Lafern loved to play the piano. She was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus. Her health declined over the past several years, but today she has a new body in Heaven with no more pain. Lafern was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Fred Albert. Survivors include her daughter, Aimee Scott and husband Don of OKC, and their children, Christopher and Paige Scott; son, Matthew D. Haddock of OKC; mother-in-law, Georgia Haddock of Pampa, Texas; brother-in law, Greg Haddock and wife Jacque of Pampa, Texas; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Medlin of Tahlequah, Patti Greathouse of Ellijay, Ga., Angela Darling and husband Rodney of Fort. Smith, Ark.; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Services were held Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Bethany Cemetery.
