Donna June Cox Donna J. Price Cox was born July 1, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She met and married Dan Cox in September 13, 1945. This beautiful marriage brought to them a daughter, Anita Cox Johnson, and a son Daniel (Buck) Cox.

Through the years, Donna and Dan owned and operated a dairy and the Spudnut Shop in downtown Tahlequah. Dan also worked for Cherokee County and Donna worked for NSU

After Dan passed away in 1986, Donna went back to work as the cafeteria manger for Sequoyah Elementary School where she won several awards of excellence for her expertise in both cooking and serving unique meals for special occasions. At the age of 80 Donna retired from Tahlequah Public Schools in 2010.

Donna loved serving her church in various positions, Sabbath School teacher and Superintendent, church pianist, Board member, and many other positions.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Dan.
two sisters, Emma, Patsy . One grand daughter Tracy Cox
Donna passed from this life on February 13, 2019 after and extended illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita Cox Johnson (Richard) Her son Daniel "Buck" Cox (Peggy). Her grandchildren Bradley Cox and Rick and Sharon Johnson, Daryl and Regina Johnson; and 5- great grandchildren (spouses)
and 4-great- great grandchildren.

Services for the remarkable woman will be held March 3, 2019, at 2:00 pm at the Tahlequah Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
