Funeral services for Debra Gayle Bond are 10:00 am Wednesday November 8, 2017 at the
29ELEVEN Church in Tahlequah. Officiating will be Reverend Terry Stone. Pallbearers are Sam Smith, Paul Asbill, Rick Davis, Randy Grogan, Greg Gettings, and Chris Bond. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Bond, Matthew Bond and Charlie Murphy. Interment will follow at a later date at the Haughton Cemetery in Amory, Mississippi.
Debra Bond was born on September 7, 1960 in Amory, Mississippi to Jimmy Clyde and Doris (Nicholas) Chism. She passed away on November 6, 2017, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 57.
Debra was a cheerleader at South Haven High School in South Haven Mississippi.
Debra worked at Northeastern State as manager of the Que Bowl until being transferred to the motor pool. Debra had a 22 year employment career at Northeastern State University.
She was a Rookie Bridge Volunteer, and an avid Alabama Fan.
Debra was a long time member of the 29ELEVEN church.
Debra has been preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Doris Chism; grandmother, Lonize Chism; uncle, Benny Chism; grandfather, Robert Nicholas; and grandmother, Opal Nicholas.
She is survived by two sons, Christopher Bond and wife Sarah, and Matthew Bond all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; two grand daughters, Lillian Bond and Laila Bond; her aunts, Barbara Jean Howell, of Amory, Mississippi, and Dot Gettings; cousins, Meilssa Murphy and husband Charlie and Jere Bowen, who were both like sisters to her; and Jeff and Greg Gettings; and loving friend, Rodney Kimble.
