TAHLEQUAH – Funeral services for Deborah Ann Curry of Tahlequah, Okla., are 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 1, at Green Country Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Chadd Pendergraft. Honorary pallbearers are Danny Houston, Ronnie Hendrickson, Rusty Medlin, Zachariah Wilson, David Quinton, Justin Fort, Hayden Brackett, Tanner Brackett, and Colton Fort. Deborah “Debbie” Ann (Woodard) Curry was born Oct. 19, 1951, in Tahlequah, to Norman Woodard and Dorothy (Shirley) Woodard. She passed away on Oct. 28, 2015, in Muskogee, at the age of 64. In 1996, Debbie met the love of her life, Darrell Curry, and they were married in 1999. Debbie graduated from Bacone College in Muskogee in May 1979. She was awarded the Florence Nightingale award for excellence in nursing. She retired from the Indian Health Service after 27 years of service in the Labor and Delivery Department. She had a passion for her work and touched many lives during her time there. Deborah was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Darrell; her mother, Dorothy; her father, Norman; and sister, Sandy Heaslet. Deborah is survived by her sister, Becky Houston and husband Danny of Tahlequah; two sons, Robert Wilson and wife Julie of Mount Vernon, Mo., and Jessie Brackett and wife Jenny of Tahlequah; her daughter, Tina Fort and husband Jimmy of Tahlequah; grandchildren, EmmaLee Smothers and husband Caleb, Sarah Wilson, Zachariah Wilson, Justin Fort, Colton Fort, Katelyn Fort, Jessica Brackett, Hayden Brackett, Tanner Brackett, and Addison Brackett; two great-grandsons, Jay and Colby Vann; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. The family would like to thank Tahlequah City Hospital nursing staff, Cornerstone Hospital, and Traditions Home Health for their amazing care and support. Green Country Funeral Home, 203 S.
