Dana's Story

Funeral services for Dana Delayne Stanley are 2:00 pm, Friday July 7, 2017, at Green Country Funeral Home. Officiating will be Chaplain Kevin Webster. Pallbearers are Nathan Hammer, Mitchell Fritts, William B illy Fritts, William Dwain Fritts, and Darren Gower. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Colburn, Glenn Fritts, Justin Holiday and Steve Young. Interment will follow in the Cedar Tree Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.

Dana Delayne Stanley, was born August 10, 1956, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dwain (Dude) Fritts and Mary Ann (Briggs) Fritts. She departed this life on July 4, 2017, at the age of 61 surrounded by her family, doing what she loved singing hymns and praying

Dana graduated Tahlequah High School in 1974. Raised on the Illinois River, she enjoyed fishing, swimming and canoeing. Dana also enjoyed animals, baking, and embroidering.
She attended Parrish Holiness Church and enjoyed singing specials.

Dana received a certificate in Medical Terminolgy from the Muskogee Vo-Tech. Dana worked at the Wal Mart pharmacy in Wagoner for 12 years. She then went into Radiology for 18 years at the Muskogee Hospital.

Dana was preceded in death by a brother David Fritts.

She is survived by a son, Nathanial Hammer and wife Victoria; brothers Mitchell Fritts and wife Gaye, and Billy Fritts and wife Brandy; and granddaughter, Joanna Hammer all of Stilwater, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews.

Dana greatly loved her family and friends.
