TAHLEQUAH – Charles “Pnut” Brave Jr. was born on Dec. 25, 1956, to Charles and Patricia Brave. He passed from this life surrounded by his closest family and friends on May 7, 2015. Pnut graduated from Hulbert High School in 1975. He spent many years making a living in the construction business before spending the last 15 years working for Action Floors. Pnut’s most cherished pastime was his chickens. From the time Pnut was a young man, you could not find him without one of his many birds close by. He loved competing with his chickens and took great pride in proving they were some of the very best. The only thing he considered more enjoyable was spending countless hours with his family and friends. He was a very loving and generous man that would do anything for anyone. He never met a stranger and always found a way to make everyone feel welcome. Pnut was blessed with five beautiful children. The first three came from his union with Cherie White, and the fourth and fifth from his time with Casie Thurman. He loved all his children equally and would move mountains to make them happy. He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia; one brother, Steve Brave; and a son, Jared Andy Brave. He leaves behind his father, Charles; two brothers, Kenneth and Michael; three sons, Samuel Brave, Buster Brave and wife Brooke, and Cody Thurman; one daughter, Brooklyn Brave; four grandchildren, Jared Brave, Hunter Brave, Eryn-Jo Gibson, and Blake Skinner; countless nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as an abundance of friends. Final disposition has been placed under the care of Green Country Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at tahlequahfuneral.com. Green Country Funeral Home, 203 S.
