Funeral services for Alvin Wesley Watts are 10:00 am, Friday October 14, 2016, at Green Country Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Alan Nolan. Honorary pallbearers are Perry Jordan, Bret Teague, Bob Barnes, Kevin Jordan, Sam Barnes, David Watts, Ron Thurber, Tom Teague, Charlie Hougland, and members of the Cherokee County Sheriff's Department. Alvin Watts was born the son of Charley and Delia (Nutt) Watts on February 28, 1943 in Moody, Oklahoma. He passed from this life at the age of 73.
On June 9, 1962 he married the love of his life Pauline Duvall in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
Alvin was a long time resident of Park Hill. In his early work career he followed road construction where he was a crane operator. Before retirement, he was employed by Teague Heating and Electric as an electrician.
He loved spending time with his family, and greatly enjoyed horseback riding with them and friends.
Alvin is preceded in death by his father, mother, wife and brother, Clyde Watts.
Alvin is survived by his son Gary Watts and wife, Kim of Tahlequah; grandchildren, Allen Watts of Park Hill, and Jandy Watts of Tahlequah; great grandchildren, Mae'Lee and Allison Watts, and Jinny McClure, all of Tahlequah; his sisters, Delilah Watts, Rosie Whisenhunt, Phebe Winkler, and Corda McCannon; and sister-in-law, Patty Watts. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and loved ones. Final arrangements have been placed in the care of Green Country Funeral Home.
