Adam Paul Oosahwee

April 04, 1988 - September 04, 2018

Adam Paul Oosahwee Adam Paul Oosahwee was born on April 20th, 1988 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Harry and Mary (Charging) Oosahwee, the fourth child and only son. He left this world on September 4th, 2018. He was deeply loved by his parents, sisters, and family.
Adam had a heart of gold and a soul that was older than his age. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Whether it was playing dominos, board games, or the holidays he happily joined in with a good natured competitive spirit. He was an animal lover and they loved him, especially his cats Sadie and Bubbes. Adam was full of compassion and always found the good in people, even complete strangers. He never held grudges and was quick to forgive. He always found the humor in things and found ways to laugh at the worst situations. He faced many health issues, but did his best to educate himself on ways to get better. He never gave up and for that the family was always very proud.
He is preceded by maternal grandparents George Duane Charging and Beatrice (Giddings) Charging and by his paternal grandparents Andy Oosahwee and Becky (Grasshopper) Oosahwee. We know they and those who left before us were there to welcome him with loving arms.
He is survived by father, Harry Oosahwee, mother, Mary (Charging) Oosahwee of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Sisters Donita Oosahwee of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Sedelta Oosahwee of Washington, D.C. Sister Sarah Oosahwee-Voss, brother-in-law Eric Oosahwee-Voss and nephews Adawi and Wohali Oosahwee-Voss of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
It is said that a successful life is measured by relationships and those who you love and will remember you. In this respect, Adam was successful beyond measure. Since his passing, many have said they will always remember his smile and his hugs. His ability to make everyone feel included is another quality many have spoken about. He will be missed tremendously, but the family finds solace in that he is finally pain free and at peace.
The funeral was held Friday, September 14, 2018 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Garrison, North Dakota. In lieu of flowers we ask that you make a donation to a cause that helps those less fortunate, the forgotten, and those in need so that Adams generous spirit lives on.
